Money Back Guarantee
If you are unsatisfied with a sari I will return your money minus shipping. I want everyone to be happy with their purchases and would like to work with you to get the sarees of your dreams!
Please keep in mind that I can't guarantee that the sari is the exact color as it appears on your monitor. I go to great pains to color correct the many hundreds of photos on the website, but individual monitors vary so much in terms of color balance, lightness and darkness that it is difficult to always portray the color accurately. But if you just really don't like it, you have one week to return it to me. I cannot accept returns after this time period.
The sari cannot have been worn or washed and must be returned in it's original folds so that I can resell it as new in order for me to give you a full refund on your card. Please let me know that you are returning something before you send it back. Shipping is not refundable.
Sarees are delicate and the handling and shipping process adds wear to the stock that I want to resell in perfect condition. So please only order things you intend to really keep. In the event of any blatant misuses of this return policy a one time restocking fee of $25 will be charged.
in the years that Sarisafari has been in business I've done only a handful of returns! That means that you are happy with your sarees and that makes me happy!
Below further elaborates the return policy:
Hello,
Thanks for your kind words on the website and collection. It's nice when knowledgeable people find satisfaction.
Because of the merchant fees I have to pay each time you use your card I cannot afford to conduct business in a "buy it to check it out" mode of commerce. I have to pay almost 3% for each transaction - including a fee for refunding your card!
Customers who expect a predominantly review/return type of commerce are not well served at my shop for I do charge a restocking fee for returns.
As you well know, sarees are delicate and sending them back and forth wears them, and puts them at risk of loss or damage. I protect these goods with my very life and that is your assurance that what you will receive is fresh and as perfect as possible.
So yes I gladly make exchanges if I feel that this return policy is being respected and the customer, over the course of our business dealings keeps pretty much everything they buy, and if returns are a rare occurrence. So if you expect to purchase 4 sarees and return 3 or 2, you will be charged a restocking fee. If you want to exchange one of the pieces out of four I can do that but you will have to pay shipping all around.
I have a long list of very satisfied customers who have bought dozens, if not hundreds of pieces from me and have never returned a thing. I am spoiled perhaps by people who appreciate the trouble gone to, my fair pricing, quick delivery and broad, knowledgeable selection of hard to get things. It is in their interest perhaps that I remain that viable source for Siddhipet and Ilkal, and they will protect my business interests as their own.
I hope you appreciate my frankness on this, I don't want you to be unsatisfied with your experience in my store. I welcome you as a customer if it suits your needs.
thanks
Melinda
